Employment Eligibility

The following are the necessary prerequisites for employment at AKCA. If you meet all the requirements that then you may proceed to another page where you can download a copy of an application and bring it to the office.

 

Work Requirements:

 

1. Must be able to travel (out of town for a week or more at a time)
2. Must have dependable transportation to and from work
3. Must furnish a “Lifetime” Motor Vehicle Report which can be obtained at any courthouse
4. MVR must reflect a Clean Driving Record (no more than 5 points)
5. Must have a Class E or higher Driver’s License
6. Must be able and willing to work overtime
7. Must be able to work days and nights because of “Contractual Requirements”
8. There are no “Driving Only” positions available
9. Must be physically able to repetitively lift 50 lb. bags
10. Pay rate will be based on experience and Class of Driver’s License
11. All new hires must take and pass a Drug Screen
12. No experience necessary for entry level positions
